Halifax - Montreal, hour 1: daylight now and the fog has lifted. Yesterday was just too nice to spend in the car and not by the ocean
Hfx-Mtl, hour 2: Snacks not working this early. Who eats sour gummi worms at 7 am? High humidity air from the vents isn't helping either
Hfx-Mtl, hour 3: Trying to rid mp3 player of the seldom listened to's. Streamlining behind a Ford F150 truck. Cruise control as entertainment
Hfx-Mtl, hour 4: Oh, if only I had meant streamlining and not slipstreaming. At least it made me think; not a lot of stimuli 'round 'ere
Hfx-Mtl, hour 5: Northward through rain, past trees and the occasional car. NOTHING ELSE
Hfx-Mtl, hour 6: No rain but back getting sweaty. For something entirely different: There is an intricate dynamic to why we are leaving Mtl
Hfx-Mtl, hours 7-9: Sunny Quebec, where daycare is $7/day but the roads have always seen better days. The frozen Dr Pepper is now slush--yum
Hfx-Mtl, at 1009 km: The St Lawrence and its mountains and fertile fields couldn't be much more majestic and ideal to build a country around
Hfx-Mtl, final 100 km: This Murcof album makes a sound like my breaks would be failing. Mildly amusing. Just. Want. To. Get. There. Now. Pls
Hfx-Mtl, last stretch: I don't think I have ever been so happy to see the top of the Stade Olympique, and I already like that thing. La fin
